Fiesta to host a number of artists, one of them being Tom Dumke of Thomas William Furniture
Tom Dumke of Thomas William Furniture is headed south. He is making his
way to San Antonio for the Fiesta Arts Festival. Tom will join
over 120 of the nation's top contemporary craft artists in presenting
their latest handmade works.
"This is such a nice art show along the Riverwalk," says Tom. Dumke has been hand crafting
furniture for the past 30 years. According to Tom Dumke, "My work of
beautifully hand-crafted furniture reflects the clean line of the Shaker
form. It also inspires my designs, creating pieces with a modern flare
and sized proportionally for today's needs."
What began as a small art fair 42 years ago has grown into one of the
highlights of Fiesta San Antonio. Fiesta Arts Fair showcases the contemporary art of 120 artists from
all over America. Ceramics, paintings, jewelry, glass, photography,
wearable art and other high-quality artworks are for sale to accent
one's home, table, or body. This event draws over 12,000 people to
enjoy art along with regional music and some of the best Mexican food
San Antonio has to offer. The hours of the event are,
Saturday, April 18 from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm and
Sunday, April 19 from 11:00 am β 5:00 pm
