At Thomas William Furniture, our work has always been about more than wood. It is about people, legacy, and the stories worth preserving.
This year we are deeply honored to contribute a handcrafted piece to the Night of Honor Gala Auction supporting Honor Flight — a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing veterans an unforgettable trip to Washington, D.C., where they are recognized and thanked for their service.
The auction opens Saturday, February 28 at 4:00 p.m. CST. Every bid helps make it possible for another veteran to experience a day set aside entirely for gratitude — a moment where a nation pauses and remembers. We are grateful to be part of a community that values sacrifice, honors history, and cares for those who carried burdens on our behalf.
Auction Donation — Lot #104
One-of-a-Kind Honor Flight Table
Created specifically for this event, this table was built as a gesture of thanks.
Handcrafted in solid walnut with a beautifully figured spalted maple top, the piece balances strength and story. The natural markings in the maple were shaped slowly by time, while the walnut base was designed for quiet stability and enduring character.
Clean lines and gentle curves reflect Tom’s commitment to traditional joinery, thoughtful proportion, and patient workmanship. Every cut, joint, and finish was completed by hand in his Wisconsin shop — no production line, no passing hands.
This piece was made once and will never be repeated.
More than furniture, it stands as a tribute — honoring the strength, sacrifice, and legacy of the veterans served through Honor Flight.
Built with intention.
Given in gratitude.
Made to last.
